The First 40.7 is universally

Application to Fastnet 2009 campaign
- During
the qualifying races and the Fastnet itself to pass on to the crew the
knowledge accumulated from previous experiences
- And
in doing so to sail the 40.7 to the best of our joint abilities whilst
mindful of the safety issues involved and keeping a sense of proportion
and enjoyment

The training and qualifying race weekends
can be structured so that all the required manoeuvres are thoroughly gone
through as well as philosophic approaches, team bonding and working on boat
speed.
Also the boat equipment, sail
inventory, safety compliance and methods of achieving a constant best vmg will
be investigated.
The races will of course involve
more planning, dissipation of duties, entries, compliance, and actual tactics,
racing, eating and sleeping. All to be best prepared for the Fastnet but also
to enjoy the build up.
The cost of £2,450 may be paid in
portions. It includes the following:
- boat
with comprehensive race sails, extensive safety equipment, bottom scrubbed
- qualified
and experienced skipper and possibly mate if thought necessary
- race
entry fees, food onboard, diesel, water, gas
- berthing
fees, accommodation onboard
- Fastnet
campaign rugby shirt, Team Anticipation racing and trim notes
- and
for those able to participate they may join for the local Tuesday evening
races during 2009
- well
over 1,000 qualifying sea miles towards your logged RYA qualifications
Deposit to secure your place £300,
payments may be made monthly, final balance due by end of June 2009.
